  • If you don't get the Step Mom Jokes, you'll understand after you watch the transmission removal video here 👉 senewss.info/slow/frjPd9SYh7qXo6o/video

    • what a legend. Send you an e-mail if you don't have a team that checks that :)

    • Hey sam i love the videos. You get great cars so cheap i was wondering if you wanted to trade off work i can build anything. Me and my family really need a vehicle. We have a 8 yo with autism and have the hardest time getting back and fourth for his meds and i know your saying get a job and by a cheap car but i cant get back and fourth but i can send you work of what i have done im not a shabby handyman im just in a tight spot... Thanks for your time-

    • @Bessarion 1 google his ‘step mom’ Cory chase... you’ll see her more than you would ever here. As I told another viewer, makes me think Sam has had some previous ‘acting’ experience ;).

    • @maxsav007 "Don't" & "they're" are the words you should use...talk about dumb!

    • nonono. It's just we rather watch your step mother than YOU.

  • No new updates?

  • That's why Ferraris are owned by wealthy people - because they are not practical or economical to own. Know why 5 yr old high-end German luxury sedans are so cheap? Because the people that can afford to maintain and repair them can also afford to buy a new one.

  • Ferrari forever

  • Luv you man

  • the r8 looks incredibly beautiful , that was the project that hooked me to this channel

  • Sam no lift in that barn???? Even Rich has a lift at his disposal......lol

  • The value of perseverance, the gain in knowledge and experience, the discipline, the emotional and physical investment far outweigh the monetary value. A great pleasure to watch, listen and learn. Cheers and gratitude from Emerald, Central Queensland, Australia 👍🏾

  • About that flange (although I can't imagine exactly the setup) why aren't you trying getting some measures of the gap that is going to be filled and go on machine shop and order that flange with the same hardness of the transmission material in order not to damage it. Then decide what is worth to do. Best hopes !!!

  • $30 I doubt one thing on the whole car is $30 or less. Love your channel.

  • This guy makes me want to get a car and try to rebuild it but my lack of car knowledge (beside simple things like oil, break calipers, and wheels) stops me because I know I want wanna buy a car and invest like 2k in parts idk I’m just retarded when it comes to cars I guess

  • That's why I never wear Ferrari clothing

  • Whatever you do on this car, maybe you should consider to fix the nasty crack on the chassis a different way.

  • See no visual difference to the clutch of my RX 7 FC Turbo. It is also about same size. Have a spare set at home ( pressure plate and clutch plate ) was 70 bucks original Daikin made in Japan . Never had a leak on the sealing from the excentric shaft. At least the clutch plate from the Ferrari would have been used in other models as well so it should be only 50 to 100 bucks, no need to resurface the old one. The Gearbox is Getrag or ZF maybe ?

  • Fun content as usual, but i remember now why i stopped watching months ago; like with many other youtubers, i get tired of skipping the extended plug for earbud headphones, bluetooth speakers, and shitty pay-to-win microtransaction-laden phone games interrupting the beginning of every video.

  • Love to see longer maybe more detailed videos! i get sad if i see every time this 10/15min videos. Love to watch you and love to be a part of your journey!!!

  • I appreciate how u motivate and give confidence to us guys who have expensive cars and want to do the work ourself to save money

  • You've convinced me...having owned a couple of sports cars in my life (964, 993C2)...stick with a decent and reliable Porsche classic if you want to actually DRIVE the car! PS: the sweatpants and ball cap still look cool, if that is any consolation.

  • How is the stepmother going?

  • what a legend

  • When a person hears the word Ferrari you think high price because you get high quality. Al least that’s what you think. I’ve seen enough videos of people talking about their Ferrari repairs to change that way of thinking.

  • I empathize, I owned a 76 Jag xj6l Parked it after costing me a $100 per ignition . It was beautiful .

  • you should not be spending $6k on Ferrari gear then, now ?! lol

  • Probably to much blow by and that’s why all the seals blew

  • If it ain't broke don't fix it. Just replace the seal! Why replace a perfectly working sensor anyway?

  • In the 90's when personally I stuck to 911's, a guy I worked with had a Ferrari ... The joke was he needed 3 of the same model ... One to drive, one in repair and one for parts. 😆

  • Whenever I watch your videos I always think your voice sounds like Norm Abram of the New Yankee Workshop, I live in the UK so don't know US accents that well, but are you and he from the same part of the world?

  • For many years the clutch kit was same as fitted to a tractor

  • who am i ... BUT ... you are being punished by the motor GOD for having anything to do with a FOREST GREEN Ferrari. shame. never been seen in green or brown car, some good advice. exception may be a British racing green Jag E type, that can be forgiven. and a lime green Lambo is ok, but NEVER FOREST GREEN. you look poor and cheap, the putz who bought the green mistake because no one else would be seen in it, so it was cheap. Step mom deserves butter ... sacrilege to say this but repaint - no just get rid of it.

  • Is the gear box working well . They didn't in the past?

  • looks like the keeps aint workin bro, ps you see what i mean this dude was whining bout money for the clutch n shit to keep yall hooked then he goes n buys another car off yalls viewer ship n sponsors... stop bein fooled... he aint broke... this formula is used by all these "car channels" tavarish, hoovie's bitch ass, etc... they get what some people get a year per month... n work on your dreams to have fun with things you cant afford n flip it or sell it and on the the next attention trap... stop being fooled... I atleast respect chris fix he buys a car n keeps the shit for the most part.. not on some gimmicky " I bought the cheapest XXXX car in america will it work ? " crap... they all the same

  • He reminds me of Fred Savage, wonder how Winnie Cooper is?

  • Sam do you know what is the worst thing of your green monster?, it will always be a salvage car, forever. It may be a good excuse for monetizing a video but stop brainwashing people that This salvage cars could be good deals. They very seldom are and they never go up in value. Actually you should come clean in everything you know about the cars when you buy them, and not abuse the low i q of the viewers by telling then fantasies and unreal expectations. Always disclosing the whole truth is much better and let the people make this or own Informed judgment. In short Sam don't try to Be a car dealer.

  • And when you’re all done, after 5000 miles you will have to do it all over again.

  • Someone else mentioned the cracks on your rear main seal housing. Just leaving another comment to point that out even though I'm late AF.

  • .....aaaaand how much did he pay for it?

  • Put crankshaft sealer in it jez

  • What a dickhead

  • I like the work you’re doing on this corpse, don’t stop, you’re close to resurrection 👏👍

  • $600 for a $30 ring gear. $1000 for a $50 release bearing. Seems legit.

  • I hope your 2021 turns out better than your 2020. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

  • Should’ve asked the car wizard :)

  • Anyone notice the atrocious welding on the rear bumper bracket. Every time I’ve had a close look at a Ferrari it makes me wonder why anyone would pay such a large sum for something of such poor quality and then have to pay astronomical prices to maintain it. Having said that I have a BMW and Mercedes and I can safely say the Germans aren’t much better.

  • Yo that intro got me thinking this nigga a dick in real life

  • Is it just my eyes, or does the rear end of the crankshaft sit below the center line? It looks like the rear main seal has been almost compressed at the bottom while almost having a gap on the top-side - does this happen without the main bearings being very worn out/loose? It also looks like there might be some cracks in the cast metal in the bottom casing, but it might also be due to it being a cast part with no machining on the surface - I would however still be tempted to carefully dig a bit into the cracks with a knife edge to see if they go deep or not just to make sure that it's just superficial..

  • Sam take the hole engine out don't do god damn bits and pieces......

  • I still don’t get why people buy those expensive Fiats, yes, FIAT.

    • Me neither. I got an X19. It's a baby Ferrari lol It's also a real FIAT, real cheap and... you guessed, absolutely 100% reliable.

  • Italiano problema! LOL

  • lesson learned - buy a scrap ferrari - remove engine and gearbox first!

  • Dude sell it,soon!

  • Hot spots are from the clutch slipping, which can be caused by a worn out clutch disk or the oil leaking from your main seal. You aren't very clear and skip over the important details.

  • Hey Sam, you asked why so few of your viewers subscribe. Speaking for myself, it is the cognitive dissonance (my behaviors going against my beliefs) that I suffer when watching your videos. On one hand, I'm jealous that you buy a Ferrari for pocket change. (I really do try to avoid coveting... after all, it was a commandment not a suggestion.) On the other hand, I try to avoid schadenfreude (pleasure derived from the misfortune of others) when everything that could go wrong with the Ferrari does go wrong. It's like that famous movie 'Buster Keaton rebuilds a Copart Ferrari." I do find your videos educational and enlightening. And one very valuable lesson you taught me: Don't ever even think about buying a BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, or any other 'exotic' car where a single strut costs more than the GDP of some countries. Keep on keepin' on and I will do my very best not to envy or take pleasure from any misadventures.

  • Sell the Ferrari quick.

  • The Ferrari basically ate up a few second hand Corolla lol

  • I'm glad now seeing your videos that I don't had the power over bank to let me that money to buy a Ferrari in my 20's !!!

  • The Ferrari clutch was never designed to be reused. It was designed to be replaced. Biggest mistake of the video. Replace the part. They never wanted you to service your car, Italians build engines the the car around it.

  • Im sure if you can get an F1 pit crew..... they would have it sorted in like 20 mins

  • Your Step Mom is gonna have to Work Harder to Loan you more Money. She can raise her rates...

  • The most common failure point on the Ferrari 360....... the owner's bank account.

  • That casing is cracked close to the seal?

  • 4:35 is that a crack in the aluminium?

  • Keep at it! Always a joy to see these cars back on the road :)

  • I'm high watching this & Sam seems like a legitimate crazy person during the intro. That's hilarious, good job Sam.

  • Looks like a Ferrari Branded Puma clothing. After receiving such a huge repair bill, many would be ruing the decision of Puma pants or shorts or Puma trousers...

  • My father said to me years ago, "Ferrari's are beautiful cars, gorgeous to look at while sitting on your driveway. Just don't ever start the F$^king thing". We are Porsche family.

  • Did the $30 worth of glue on the floor fail

  • I would have pushed this thing off of a cliff by now. Ive learned that I never want a Ferrari. Thanks Sam

  • Sounds like your Ferrari was a submarine in a hurricane.

  • So was I the only one interested in the trx700 ?

  • How can you remember where all bolts goes???

  • u are a good soldier...fingers crossed on cheaper route.

  • One of 30 videos to be made just to pay for parts!

  • Still love this green color. So unique

  • The TV repair mans pants on your assistant was epic !

  • This damn thin never ends lol

  • Hey Sam, This Ferrari clutch story came to mind about how Ferrucchio Lamborghini was always having trouble with the weak clutch on his early 1960's 250 GT Ferrari that needed to be replaced almost every week. He was only building tractors at the time but he recognized that his Ferrari had a clutch designed like the ones his tractors used but the Ferrari;s clutch constantly wore out from being under sized for the task required . So he asked to speak with Enzo Ferrari about making his cars have stronger clutches only to be insulted by Il Commendatore for not sticking to driving his tractors instead of thinking he could ever manage a fine machine like a Ferrari. Ferrucchio became so pissed off over this insult that he started his own Automobile company that put Ferrari to shame. And the rest is history. PS, You have got to buy yourself a 2 post 10,000 lb lift to make these horrible jobs a piece of cake.and stop killing yourself working on the ground. That will be the best $3500 you will ever spend. Keep Up The Good Work And Merry Christmas to everyone.

  • Bring this turd back to the junkyard Crack..

  • Ferrari, people think your super cool A classic 😂!!!

  • So, I will be honest. The only videos of Sam's I have watched are of the Ferrari and I will continue to watch them, but something is bothering me. This was a low mileage car, but the damn thing is just knackered. There's just dirt and rust and scratched paint everywhere. The rear brake calipers are all chipped up, like someone drove this thing through Baja.

  • best of luck Sam you could really do with some right now

  • Still can't Believe you working on your on Ferrari you are a BRAVE Man !! 👍🏾

  • Raycon ships extremely slow. I've been waiting for two weeks and DHL still hasn't received the earbuds from Raycon. Purchase any other manufacturer of earbuds. They will arrive in a matter of a few day. Raycon is unprofessional.

  • Seriously. BUY A LIFT!

  • I am glad I don't have the money to get a ferrari. If I were rich, then I for sure I'd get a Tesla Roadster.

  • You are wasting your money if the case is cracked 4:40 near the bottom.

  • Sorry Sir - but this is a typically Clickbait Video.... dramatizing Prices for the Idiots out there wattching this. I owned a Ferrari and the Parts are actually pretty "cheap" when you do some research. They are simple Parts from Fiat or LUK / BOSCH / ATE and so on... a Clutch is normally around a few 100 Bucks, the Throwout Bearing just under 80 to 100 cause they are simply purchased from another Company.... by Ferrari themselves. The Crancshaft Seal is also just any Aftermarket Parts which can be found by measuring it... So please.... AND - the "hot spots" are not from Oil, they happen by treating the Car wrong. The Driver was not used to drive Stick Shift at all. Launching hard actually is better than shifting and letting the Clutch slip.... THAT produces this Surface.

    • @Samcrac well, as a former Ferrari Owner I know all that.... YOU indedd are just on Clickbaits for all the Millenials and Wannabe Mechanics out there.... nothing else. I never said YOUR Car has a Stickshift.... so what. I described it as an Example which usually causes this damage Sir. Measure the Bearing, compare Pictures of similar Cars... there is a Number on the Bearing, so use Google... come on... do I really need to tell you all this? OR just simply call a Manufacturer in Europe like LUK or SACHS or someone else. The Manufacturer doesn´t produce only for Ferrari, it´s a "off the shelf" Part. Ferrari just charges the Rich Dicks this amount to give them a Feeling of being "important & exclusive". ;-) AND - I live in Europe, so I´m familiar with these Cars..... since I grew up... now you ;-) I was wrenching on Porsches and other Cars like this when you were still wearing Diapers. *LOL* ciao bella.... ;-) HEy, why don´t you just call HOVIE or Daily driven Exotics or Rich or B is for whatever for help. They all do the same clickbait stuff like you. ;-)

    • Typical know it all message. The car doesn't have a "stick shift," nullifying everything else you've said. Find me a throwout bearing for $80-100 and you can have the difference in what one would cost me.

  • The more I watch videos like that the more I can’t wait to buy my first electric car. And ditch my dream 911 GT3 😂. So many parts with petrol cars it’s staggering the amount of engineering they go through...

  • Will your step mom test drive it? I mean it's still a Ferrari .

  • You are missing the Ferrari fanny pack..

  • Hey Sam! Here's a news flash: Ferrari is the Italian word for 'overpriced.' :-D)

  • Sam do you and Cory chase bang ?

  • @8:06 Look at my avatar. Sad but true. LOL LOL

  • Going by what others have spotted ... cracked casing... this car def a duffer. Looks like a scrap yard job after all

  • What’s the name of that diag tool you use with your iPhone?

  • That bearing appears to be seeing assy metric bending loads (design related and prone to deflection.) Note American Muscle puts a spline shaft in there to anchor all that rotary momentum. I always was opinion Italian design is pretty/sexy, BUT NEver “bullet proof”.

  • Lemon!

  • SAMCRAC MAN LEADER OF THE AUCTION CARTEL OF LEON , nobody bids against him when he bids people know to stay away!!

  • You need a good fire Sam

  • Doesn't anyone notice how fake that shit is? The Facetime Call kinda reminded me of some bad porn dialog😂😂😂

  • Look who is giving free Puma advertisements
